I have to reorganise my bedroom this weekend. I seem to vaguely remember someone telling me that it was unlucky to have the end of your bed directly opposite the door. Is this right? Is it bad feng shui? Or should I not care?

And. Is it (as Al says) bad luck to have a clumber spaniel in your bedroom?

I believe it is unlucky to have your feet facing towards a door .....
something to do with being carried out feet first when you croak it :D lol

I think it may be unlucky to have the end of your bed opposite the door as it is very inviting for heavyweight dogs who just happen to run upstairs and take a flying leap onto your bed. Depending on which side of the bed the man of the house sleeps on, it can result in unrepeatable expletives to be shouted when the said dog lands on a tender part (or parts). However it does guarantee being well and truly woken up, and it generally more reliable than an alarm clock.

Hi 9thM,
Don't know nothing about that 'feng shui' stuff.
But I can tell you it is NOT unlucky to have a Clumber Spaniel in the bedroom.
And it 'IS' unlucky to have an 'Al' in the bedroom, especially if he is not your husband. (OK if he is).
lol
Merry Christmas 9thM, Al and Spaniel.
