We are looking to increase the number and more importantly the quality of the breed guides on the site.

If you can write 1000-2000 words about the history, character and ownership requirements of your chosen breed, then you could be eligible for a year's free advanced membership of Champdogs.

We are looking to build up a collection of unique insights into owning the various breeds. The main purpose of these guides is to allow the prospective owner to make an educated decision on the suitability of a particular breed.

Editorial standards will be high and there is no guarantee that your guide will be published. In particular please note that we are not looking for an appraisal of the breed standard, though references can obviously be made where appropriate.

So if there is no guide for your breed, or if you think you can add to or improve upon the information contained in an existing breed guide, then why not give it a try ?

If selected your guide will be published on the site and will be linked to your Champdog's page. We intend to increase the overall visibility of the breed guides within the site in order to ensure this information is easily available to the visiting public.
