I have a 6 month old staffy and dont know when to stop feeding her 3 times a day. We did stop for a week but she still wanted more food so we are still given her 3 meals a day.

judge by the of the pup, she should be nicely rounded , not like a barrell on legs ,just play it by ear, if she needs only two meals a day and you feel shes taking a bit much weight off, add a touch more to the 2 meals she's having, its a balancing act, no two dogs are the same, but at 6 months mine are always down to two meals a day

I think often the dog tells you - my pup simply did not want 3 meals a day when she reached 5 and a half months and just refused to eat all I put down. I reduced her meals to 2 a day and she now eats them with relish.

Does she like relish and what flavour do you give her?:-)
Seriously though I think some dogs always seem hungry. My 6 month old has been having 2 meals a day for a few weeks now.

Reminds me of the time we tried some 'aversion therapy' to cure my old dog of 'counter surfing' by making some chilli sauce sandwiches - he came back for more!
