Just wondering if anyone can help me out here. We are currently looking for a male Dobermann puppy. We have had two Dobermanns in the past - we just had to have our 11 year old male put to sleep a couple of weeks ago due to a spinal problem Our female dog was a Borains and our male a Findjan. I've tried to track down these lines but it seems that they've faded out and I'm coming across many new lines we know nothing about. The breeder we got our other two Dobermanns from has sadly passed away but I've managed to track down a couple of different breeders and we are going to look at some pups shortly. I don't want to flash peoples' names around on the board, but if there is a knowledgeable Dobermann breeder here I'd be grateful if I could share my info. I want to make sure we're getting a well bred pup.

I see you live in Hertfordshire. May 29th 2004 is the date of the Dobermann Club Champ Show at :
Dobermann Club and Training Showground,
Hertford Road
Digswell
Herts.  (on the B1000 )

Show opens 9am judging at 10am.
We'll be there in Junior bitch - come and say hello, I'll be the one who looks like a frightened rabbit :D :D
You might want to go along as most breeders will probably be there. You can then be anonymus and have a look at Dobes before you approach anybody. I did that all of last year. We were in the same position as you having lost our first girl.
