I like this board too Mark, although I liked the last one too! I've been a few times to the other board (dogs uk), but I still think this one's best - well done!

I Like this new board, very easy to see when postings have been made and read them all in one without having to keep going backwards and forwards through the browser.

pity in one way that you have to register though - but then it might stop some of the postings that ppl seem to make where others then take the time to respond and consider the problem, but the originator doesn't come back. Either that or they just don't like what they see or don't know how to say thankyou.

Well what can I say, I'm in at last.
It was 'Bloody difficult' getting here. I've got a lot older and my hair (that which I haven't torn out with frustration) has turned white.
I am looking around, trying to read the street names, but am compleatly lost.
So far I DONT like this board. But give it a bit of time, when I get a little 'Street Wiser' I may feel different about it.

Darling, I will say lots of nice things about this board if you do what you said you might - so far no change, sniff!

Sorry but I do prefer the old board, I know there are lots of good features on this one but somehow I think it may lose a lot of messages from people who are inexperienced and need one off help.
Had to laugh at the Foo though, thought it said Poo"!

I agree with you about the messages from people who need one off help. We are working on ways to make the board easier to use for the 1st time posters.

I love the new board! It may not be simper but is way better, I love having the profiles, search etc! How do you get the different smiles, I only know

Holly, There's only a couple, and but we also have this and that but you can put them together and end up with the other! check out the Help File.

Interesting that this old thread has been dug up. It would seem now that we had been using this board for ever, I can't even remember what the old board was like and yet at the time of the change over I thought I would never get to grips with this one. some of you may think I never have, but I'm happy.
It's funny really how most of us hate change and fight against it, but once we have no choice settle down and forget our objections, a lesson for life I guess. Jackie H

I actually posted the above post in response to the thread about sleeping with dogs. Something went wonky and it gave me an error message. Don't know how it ended up here. Then I posted the explanation and it disappeared again!!
