English Springer Spaniel - dog (neutered)
Liver & white. Mainly white body with brown patch, about the span of your
hand, on his rump. Very soft feel to coat. Tall for a Springer, about
50 to 55 cm at the shoulder. All four legs are white with brown flecks.
Middle two toe nails on front feet are unusually long. Long tail, brown
with a white tip, only quarter docked. Typical Springer head, brown ears
and mask with a white centre blaze and muzzle. Light brown eyes, clean
ears and teeth. 5 1/2 years old.
Occasionally does a strange hop with his back legs, almost as if he has
stood on something sharp ! One of his front legs (can't remember which) has
a very pronounced bow on the wrist joint.
Blue nylon collar with threaded tag, also microchipped. A rescue dog, not
easy to handle although has a good nature unless threatened when he can be
nasty !
Ran off on a walk on Wednesday 16th January 2002 in the village of Santon
Downham, south of the village at 1pm, (between Thetford and Brandon on the
B1107 off the A11 Norwich/London road) on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
