I know she wasn't a dog, and so seems out of place on here, but I was very fond of my guinea-pig Pandora. She was never really stopped missing her daughter Sharon, who was put to sleep on February 2nd. She stopped eating at the beginning of last week, and stopped drinking a couple of days later. Despite my best efforts at syringing liquidised food and water down her throat, this morning we called it a day.

Sorry to hear your news, Jeangenie, they are great characters guineapigs, even though I have not had one since childhood I can understand how sad you will be feeling at her loss.

Jeangenie...GPs are delightful little creatures not unlike puppies in some ways ( I just love how they snuggle in to you and make that little noise ) I am so sorry you have lost Pandora and I am sure the Rainbow Bridge was made for GPs to cross too...l

We lost our last pig, Blossom, a few weeks ago to cancer and have decided we won't have any more because we just hate losing them

But we have been so lucky having these little characters in our lives
