Does anyone know if the ingredients in dog and cat wormers are the same. Can I use a smaller dose of my dog wormer on my cat?

Dont know. But all the ones I have bought for my cats and dogs from the vet have stated 'for dogs' or 'for cats'
I havent bought any that say 'for cats and dogs' Regards Gina

I ran searchs Lorna and they all say cat or dog wormers. I didn't check to see if this applies to the homeopathic wormers though? Why not ring your vet :-)

Careful Lorna, cats can't handle some things which dogs can. Asprin is one case in point.

You definetly need to get a wormer for cats not dogs, you don't want a sick or dead cat.

I must ask my vet what the difference is. My cat is 16 now, and I've always used CAT wormer, but just wondered if I needed to buy a specific one, especially as I have puppy wormer in the house.
