Hi All

I'm putting our Storm in the Pickers up class this year at the big 'C'.
Stupid question, but do exhibitors in this class usaully get all dressed up for a shooting day?

That meant to read ' AS for a shooting day'!

Most dress in plus 2's or plus 4's and matching tweed or Lodon jacket walking boots and stocking as in a Field Trial and very smart they look too!

I don't possess such items of clothing!!!

Would a smart pair of trousers, blouse and waistcoat do? - Nothing gawdy at all, just good old country colours.

The beaters and pickers up on the shoot that he picks up on don't wear all the gear - not like the paying guns.

You won't be too out of place like that Di, there is always quite a few wearing their normal "Show clothes" I must admit that on the shoot I pick up on I'm more interested in being warm and dry than anything else. This kind of wear is not the normal beater or picker up wear but is more "Ceremonial" wear reserved by most for taking part in Field Trials.
