Went to an open show last weekend.
Still can't quite believe what happened. Hey-Ho live and learn as they say.
Went into the AV working class with my Boxer puppy.
Well when it was our turn the judge went into her mouth.
Then said ooh I can't see her top teeth and asked me to show them.
At the time I was too bemused to say anything to the judge.
Low and behold at the end of judging the class we were placed last in the class
of 4. Infront were all the scissor bites!!
(I didn't expect to win the class but she did deserve to be placed higher than she was)
LOL never mind the judge obviously thought a Boxer also should have a
scissor bite instead of the correct Boxer undershot mouth she has.
Has anyone had this happen to them ever?? and did you say anything to the judge
whilst they went over your dog to correct them? (I always thought you weren't allowed to do so?)

Suffice to say I've put the judge down in my no-no book.

Any judge who does not know the breed he is judging has no right to be in the ring . this is a disgrace , I dont know why it is allowed mari

I ask the judge, where ever possible, the reason why they placed my dog where they did so I can ascertain for myself exactly what the percieve to be wrong with my dog. That puts them off and most of them dont really know why!
