i have a gsd 16 months old i am trying to find a handler to take him in shows any body have any news on this matter i live in hertfordshire and go ring craft training on a monday eve to barton nr cambridge thanks

I would say it depends on a few things......
What type is he?
How regular and which shows will you be attending?
Who bred him and how good an example of the breed he is.
How well your face fits! <g>
And finally, how much you are prepared to pay!

Do you go to an all-breeds ringcraft, or a GSD one?

I also show GSDs and find that getting a decent, reliable handler is one of the worst parts of it.

hi nix well he is german bred im not to clued on this so im hoping to get the right guide lines he is from the nyrvana kennel gayvilles utah is the sire greenveldt cardomom is the dam grand parent gavills nilo and gayvilles zara greenveldt jago in nyrvana greenveldt eva he has not been in any shows yet i would like to enter him in a show at peterbourgh in april i am told there is almost always handlers at shows i was advised by a gent who saw him at ring craft who thought he was very good this man was i was told a trainer and used to judge he is retired now but he was full of major he sung his praises he said he may not be a world cham but in the right hands he will do very well i dont expect my face to fit for one moment im to old to do the running but i do try and do the training i do attend a all gsd ringcraft re gards payment i havnt a clue what any one charges perhaps you can give me some idea thanks for your help any way you are right about getting good handlers it seems like mission impossable good luck in your showing mc
