I'm always looking for a book to read as mainly have to read myself to sleep at night,I've had a phase of most authors but recently read Bridgitte Jones Diary I enjoyed it so much was really fed up when I finished it and then when I went in WH Smith today there was the sequel on sale cant wait to read that now,the first book really made me LOL hope then next books the same

Sure you won't be dissapointed Mattie as I took the two on holiday with me and could not pt them down.
Result - both books read in 4 days and I spent the rest of the holiday with severe sunburn! (Was that engrossed I couldn't even be bothered to put the umbrella up )
I loved both Bridget Jones' books too. You may find any thing by Judy Astley good, very easy reading and amusing stories. For good old fashioned romance try Teresa Crane. I also recently read Polo (Jilly Cooper), I know its been around for years but its the first time I've read any of hers and I thought it very good.
