I recently read a post and the person had said ' In order to see a pic click on my user name.  Then it took you to a pic of this person's dog....how do you do that?  I understand you can add a link but I would like to add a pic to my profile like this person did???

You just need to upload a picture on the net (photobucket.com do a free service) and then put a link in your profile. You are not allowed to put a link to a picture in a post though

Thanks for that, just one more question though - how do I add the link in to my profile - sounds a bit daft and I work on a PC all day long.  Do I put it in the home page link box??

'look at my site' and 'look at my profile' posts are not allowed. Most members check profiles as a matter of course.

You just copy the url (web address) and put it into your profile, as Admin says, most people check other folks' profiles
