Mari,

Maybe Admin could have taken of the personal insults but in whole there was some good advice given apart from the shock collars and I find it a shame the whole thread went.

I found it a shame the whole thread went before I had a chance to read 'any' of it. :-)

Bad idea to delete a whole thread just cause of some posts. Next time just delete the trouble ones and keep the rest!

When I first joined Champdogs, I got insulted and it did upset me. So Admin do have to make sure we are all happy bunnies and not insulting each other! But I have to agree that purhaps the topic could stay and the rude posters be removed?

The thread is still out there somewhere. Is this the one you mean ?

Agressive GSD continued

Threads are split when they become too large. In order to do this safely they need to be temporarily removed. The continuation thread on this topic is quickly nearing the size threshold, so if it also disapears for a short while don't panic :-)

Sorry to hear you got upset Julieann. I don’t remember the incident but if you had posted into a thread which had already got a little heated then I can understand that maybe you rather unfairly got some stick. Very few people here mean any harm and even if we do occasionally growl, we never bite! :-)

Regards, John

Mari I didnt insult you just told you I was not going to put Max to sleep (thus ignoring your somewhat over-reactive advice)
By mari [ie] Date 24.03.02 02:01 GMT
Well Bangor I did not say put max to sleep. I said in answer to John that I agreed E.C were cruel . now correct me if i am wrong . you said what I thought about Max biting your Father and drawing blood. I answered your question . i said if a dog bit my father [r.i.p.] I would have him pts . you said I did not know what I was talking about.
To me that amounts to insult I have had dogs all my life know the ins and out of breeding. I have a very good reputation in dogs . I breed and raise bullmastiffs,a big strong dog in anyones estimation without any bother.I have been awarded top breeder 2000and 2001. I have a passionate love of dogs but I will not tolerate a dog that bites . how you go about it is your business . you asked me I told you , all you had to say was i dont think he is that bad or I wont give up on him yet . simple.
However after reading more I think perhaps max is not so bad at all , just a willful teenager. and god knows we all know what a willful teenager is like .

Mari, Iagree with you about the biting issue, but you probably knew that already!
By mari [ie] Date 25.03.02 22:47 GMT
I do bumble . and you have very good reason to agree . best wishes . . :-) mari
