Does anyone know what time German Shorthaired Pointers begin showing tomorrow, June 30, 2001 at the Windsor Dog Show? Mara is entered, cheque was cashed, but we've received nothing back in the mail to indicate ring time.
Thanks.

Thanks, Debs! Windsor is perhaps 15 minutes from the house so that means we get lots of extra sleep in the morning!!
I'll look you up there Sierra.
Best wishes, John

John,
Looking forward to seeing you and Leigh again!!! Psssssssstttttt, can you and Jon go to the 'beverage' tent? **grinning**
Sierra,
15 mins from the house?? Don't suppose you take in lodgers!?! :D LOL
Just thought I'd take this opportunity to say 'hi' to you and everyone else. I've been watching this board for a while and think it's about time I made an appearance. Good advice seems to be on tap here and is great to see, but I also like the good humour.

Hope you don't mind me joining in!

Good luck for tomorrow... Hope it's not too hot!

Hi Monty's Mum, Good to see you on the board. We don't bite! (often!!!

)

Oh that's a shame John. An occasional gentle nibble from Monty is quite nice really!!

Hi Monty's Mum, is Monty a GSP if so is he as mad as mine also callled Monty, still hoping that one day his brain cells will start working together Ingrid
Hi Ingrid,
Close, but not quite! My Monty is a young flatcoat and has been called Mad Monty since the day we brought him home as a puppy. He's regularly given marks out of 10 for entertainment at our obedience class! LOL

How do you get the grinning face and also the one with the open mouth? Sorry to put this here!!!
It is 'colon D' for this one :D. I found it under 'help' after someone else was sent there by Twilly in an earlier message.

Come on over, Monty's Mom!!!
Hi Sierra, I hope you were allowed into the showground on Saturday.
We had a lovely day. Monty received a big pat on the head and a polite thank you for being there.

Then, with the formalities out of the way, we took the credit card for some exercise. :D The car was very full on the way home!

**chuckles** sounds like the same kind of day that Mara had.... though I was very pleased that she behaved according to my game plan of learning the fun of dog shows. Jon kept coming back to the bench area with all sorts of things that Mara just *had* to have -- three of those toys that make noises when shaken (the monkey chatters, the frog ribbits and the duck quacks!!!), an Arsenal fleece (every Gunner's fan's dog should have an Arsenal blanket to make her bench padded and comfy, right?), more grooming things, treats, a bench chain, magazines.... sound familiar?? LOL
Win or not, the day was beautiful, the people were interesting and fun and the judging was mmmmm... different **grinning as she simply holds her tongue**
Hope to see you at one of the next shows.... Richmond is in our backyard too!

Hi Sierra
I was looking out for you on Saturday but didn't see your hat!!!!! <g>
The judging went according to what everyone expected on Saturday.
Our judge started in GSP's with Wittekind stock and is definately a
solid liver fan!!!! That's why we were all out in force!!! <g>
Otto came 3rd in open dog so I was thrilled with that. I will be going to
to Richmond in September so will look out for you there!!!

**chuckling** it's close enough to home that we could throw a few cold ones into the cooler bag and they'd still be chilled for you, Leigh!! Hope to see you there.

Sierra, you are a star! I look forward to it <vbg>

Sounds very familiar. LOL. No wonder Mara enjoyed herself. Add to the list vetbed, paw-print bench blankets, even more vetbed and a bag of dog food! That's why the car was so full.

Unfortunately, none of the champ shows are in our backyard, the closest being about 1.5 hours away. However, we'll be at South Wales on Saturday, all being well... Good luck to everyone who's going!

well, they will have to figure out how they will hand write them, since they didn't send passes, schedule, etc.... luckily we have been there before so we know where it is!! I do have a bank statement showing that they cashed the cheque though!! Such is life.
