My kiera, Pharaoh Hound, has a patch of wet eczema on her rump/backside.
I've tried for a couple of days with hibiscrub & Aloe Vera gel but still not very
nice & Kiera keeps nibbling and licking it. This evening I took her to vet he gave
her a injection & Pred tablets(supposed to stop itch/irritation) & Cep tablets
and also Fuciderm gel. I hope it clears quick ! Else I'll miss out with her on a
lot of pre-entered championship dog shows. Thankfully Pharaoh's aren't long
coated else she'd be out the ring for months on end !!
Vet recommend long term use of evening primrose oil / 80 mg Gamma Linolenic
Acid.

Pam,

Try Diprobase cream its very good.
You will be able to get it from any chemist.

Hi Pam,My old Afghan gets this on her spine, just far enough along so that she can reach it! Ive tried all sorts of things, but the only one that works on her is coal tar cream. She wont lick this because she dosnt like the taste of it, and it normally dries up within 2-3days
