I write this post for my sister - Deana, her husband Neil and three children, Andrew, Shane and Carrie Ann.
The children are not so much children anymore, Andrew and Shane -fine young men in their late teens and Carrie Ann growing into a beautiful young lady. The family got Solo as a very small pup, and he has been there for all of their childhood years. Solo has had a wonderful long life surrounded by a fantastic family, and until recently their other dog Mac (who was also pts, through old age and illness). It was never easy for Solo to carry on without Mac, his life long friend, but he tried his best.  He will be missed tremendously, a little dog with a huge personality.
Alas, no longer with us but I'm sure he will already be at the bridge, racing around with Mac and all of the other loved and lost pets we remember with affection.
Run free at the bridge Solo. Wait for your Mammy and the rest of the McIntosh clan.
with much love from Wendy and with little woofs from Edward

Sorry to hear about the loss of Solo - give my love to your sister, Mac will have met him at the bridge :-)

Losing an elderly dog is like losing part of your childhood - but the memories of Solo will remain in their childhood.

Treat every stressful situation as a dog would. Pee on it and walk away
