my yorkie girl was straining this morning ,i checked her anal gland and they needed attention ,so i have emptied them ,of course i will go straight to the vet in the morn if there is no improvement,she not 100% .is there any thing else i can do

we use liquid parafin from the chemist last week my friends dog had the same problem and he was a little yorkie she gave him a teaspoon (5mils) and he was fine next day,its really handy to keep n I have to use it with my Old lab who gets a bit constipated.
