Again, back to your bitch's breeder who should be able to advise the best compatible lines to look at.  It also depends on if your baby (just 7 weeks isn't she?) grows to be a good enough specimen of the breed to be bred from and passes all her health tests.  Enjoy her as a baby for the time being.

Why are you in such a hurry? You have just told us in another thread that you have only just aquired this puppy, so I'm thinking she must be just an 8 or so weeks old baby. Not every bitch puppy is of enough quality to be bred from, so It would be a good idea to be patient and wait till she's two years old and see how she does in the showring, or alternatively have her assessed by a breed expert when she's two years old, to decide whether she is good enough.Plus she'll need her hips scored and have better than average results, and she'll also need to pass her eye test.

Enjoy your puppy and have lots of fun, but don't wish her life away. :-)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of forward planning :-)
It shows that the person is NOT in a hurry and is wanting to get the best dog for their bitch lined up BEFORE she comes of age, that has to be preferable to someone who waits til the last minute and uses the dog around the corner for convenience isnt it?

I never said there was BB, do you think I should not have mentioned proving the quality of the bitch, and passing health tests, and the potential for this puppy to be unsuitable for breeding? I was simply trying to point out the facts that need to be considered and taken into account, when making a decision to breed a litter. That too is forward planning, is it not?

I would suggest that you have two or three dogs in mind as potential studs in 2 years' time - until your baby is fully grown, you won't really know which points you need to improve upon - puppies can change so much, and what you think today looks absolutely wonderful can change overnight, whilst the pup is growing!   You may want to improve upon head, tail carriage, depth of chest - anything - so it would be as well to look at two or three dogs whose pedigree complements your own pedigree, and decide, with the help of someone who is well-versed in the breed, as to which dog will be best.
