Hi All,

Just wanted to say I have only been posting a short time but wanted to say how refreshing it is that people do not condem you if you breed, do not judge you if you are pro docking or anti docking, but at the same time promote good practice when it comes to breeding etc etc etc  People are not big headed, there are as i have discovered alot of members with experience in all fields and it is nice to share and draw on that info without getting shot down in flames  - why cant all boards be like this!!!  I know where I will be coming in future.  It is nice to see people congratulating others on litters etc, you dont get that on the breed boards for example.

Keep up the good work.

I am glad you see it that way. We regulars are often accused of being hard on novice breeders when pointing out that breeding isn't a right but a responsibility.

If done with the responsibilities to the breed, the Dam, the new owners and the lifetime of the pups (includes health testing of breeding stock and ethical breeding practice) then we are more than happy to advise.

I agree, although i have owned my breed for 19 years this is my first proper litter (my last litter produced 1 pup) i have whelped a fair few litters of different breeds and my dad bred for years but I am a novice and it has taken me years of research before i decided to have a litter, and took me 15 months to decide on a stud dog - i am looking forward to showing someting that i have bred :-)

you sound like my kind of breeder, someone who really cares for the breed! :D

For, you see, each day I love you more,
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.
