Hi Lynne.

Welcome to the board :-)

I think that it is quite natural for bitches to boss dogs around. My GSD bitch used to rule the males in my household with a rod of steal, woe betide them if they stepped out of line. As Tyson is now in advanced years, I would intervene and get her to leave him alone if he appears to be upset by the attention. If he is ok, then let them get on with it.

Thank you oh great and glorious one.

Sorry about my bad mannered friend Lynne. I hadn’t realised I’d left the playroom door open. He's safely locked away again now!

What Leigh says is completely correct. As she says, don't allow her to push him around too much but the chances are you are more worried about it than he is! In any multi dog household, the human is the boss and her (or his) word is law! Allow play but finish it before it gets out of hand.

Regards, John
