My god these posts getting mixed up are giving me a headache! Why can't the owners of this site get a phpbb forum! The posts never mix up! Please! I love this site but it sure can drive me mad!

http://www.phpbb.com/
I used to own a Rammstein site and used phpbb, it was prefect!
Why ruin a good thing

some phpbb forums are down at this very moment due to a crictical server problem
I have to agree, it would be great to see something a little more user friendly and up to date and navigable.

I actually prefer the way this forum works(apart from the short edit time) than any other one I ahve been on. I do only use the new posts in active topics to read the forum though.

This site is the best site I have ever used. Very clear, user friendly and easy to navigate.

What is a phbpp?

Yes forgot to ask that :D

Isn't that how you spell the noise you make when you blow a raspberry? :D

Parrrrp :D I think you're right

so what is a phbpp ?
I'm not a complete idiot - some parts are missing

I quite like the short edit time. Under the old system I have had the unpleasant experience of commenting on a post only for the poster to edit their rubbish out and make me look the fool

Nothing to stop someone adding a post and appologising, amending or clarifying what they meant to say as appropriate and that is much fairer, in my view, to subsequent posters

Thats why all my shocking typos stay in :D as by the tiem I have gone through all the posts I want to answer I only then see my replies and see them, why do I never notice them as I type, it is almost like knowing what I meant to type stips me reading what I actually type.
Have just recently taken to refreshing the new post and reading my post, but it slows things down a lot.
Barbara and the Grey Curly Tails.

Don't worry about it Brainless

it's the content that counts not the typos. I don't have any trouble following what you are saying, anyway some of the typos are a bit of a laugh :D

I like this site also. it is the one I stuck to apart from the banter it is easy to use.
I hate most of the others purely because of the way the work.

Same here for that reason I rarely visit them :D The text is larger for me to view here too.
Barbara and the Grey Curly Tails.

I'm not sure what the problem is - as far as I see the posts come out beneath the one the writer clicked 'Reply' on, and slightly narrower - all the replies to one particular post are the same distance across the screen.

MESSAGE FOR BRAINLESS
Hi B.
If you get a Google toolbar it has a spell checker for anything you type in a text box (such as the one on Champdogs) - the only drawback is that you have to remember to use it :D

Because of the size I have my screen elements set to I really don't wnat extra toolbars cluttering up and shiringking my view, so how can I use the thing without having the toolbar visible? I would find it quite useful.
Barbara and the Grey Curly Tails.
It can be dragged to fit alongside
file,edit, view etc
and you can select "Options" (dropdown under word "Google") to hide most of the toolbar.
I use Google a lot as my main search engine when doing research so I tend to sacrifice other icons to have it there

Hi Kerioak,
Good tip, I thought there must be some way of spell checking and it works
