LOVE this site - am new to it and have had SO much advice and good tips in past 2 days!!.

Who sets this up ? why have they done it ? who maintains it ? and why is all this wonderful advice Free - im not complaining, but just wondered how this all works and what the organisers get out of it ?

We're a motley crew - all ages, all sizes (I was going to say all sexes :D) with all the different dogs that you could wish for - from toys to giant breeds and everything in between.    It's called Champdogs, not just because we all know that our dogs are champs, but with the emphasis on pedigree dogs, because that is where most of us believe that we should be going with dogs - dogs with histories that can be checked, with as few health problems as possible.

We've gone through it all - from mating, whelping and rearing puppies, from aquiring a new puppy and learning how it grows and how to feed and train it, through the terrible teenage years, up to the oldies, and having to say goodbye to them.

We can ask about training and showing, brag about our successes and confess to our gaffes.

We also share a lot with each other, bad times, sad times and good times, births and marriages - in fact the only problem with Champdogs is that it becomes terribly, terribly addictive :D
