Do I need to be concerned ?
Phoebie today decided to launch herself on Sam but misjudged it and has broken a tooth (I went out for about an hour leaving husband in charge who witnessed it and heard the "crack" (surprisingly Sams head is OK lol) :-()
She is 14 weeks old and it is a top left canine tooth - I'm fairly certain it's broken and not just a new one poking through. She is not at all concerned by it and is still happily chewing anything she can !!
Is the best plan of action just to keep an eye on it ?

One of mine did this and it caused no trouble at all, the adult tooth came through when ready pushing the broken bit out. Jackie H

Sara,
Samma broke a tooth several months ago. It was the small permanent one right behind her bottom jaw "fang" tooth. The rest of it had to be dug out by the vet during a dental cleaning the next day. She told me that if it had not been taken out, it could have caused infection & more problems.
In your situation, I would keep an eye on it & hopefully it will fall out soon. If it doesn't loosen, or stays in, there could be an eventual problem.
good luck,
toodles cool

My young Weim, lost his tooth and we found it on the
floor, YUK!. But it gave him no bother and he grew
his next one. Prehaps its not as bad as you thought.
