Hi everyone,
This announcement was in the S& S newspaper today. An early head's up in case you're interested.
The Royal International Tattoo 2002 will be held 20-21 July at RAF Fairford, near Swindon, in west England. More than 200,000 aviation fans are expected to attend the show, which will feature 400 aircraft from 35 nations and 8 hours of nonstop flying each day. 6 aerobatic teams, including the RAF Red Arrows will perform at Europe's biggest airshow. Joining the Red Arrows will be the Italian air force's Il Frecce Tricolor, Spain's Patrulla Aguila, the Royal Jordanian Falcons and Switzerland's Patrouille Suisse. The Army air corps' Blue Eagles will perform with four prewar Stearman aircraft.
Information & ticket purchases are available online at www.airtattoo.com

They usually do this to us Working and Pastoral Breeds showgoers who live down south/south east mad

Anyone going to the dog show from this area is advised to avoid the Swindon/Cirencester area and especially the A419 AT ALL COSTS, usually a continuous traffic jam for it's entire length.
We usually end up having to make about an hours detour
