Yes definately. With me its kids. The cry goes up ' mums on champdogs again' . when I stop to think about it though, I do spend an awful long time on here, trawling through looking for a topic I know something about. Its even worse when I've posted one, I keep checking every five minutes for replies :D

Me too. Only he is very quiet when the football is on (and luckily there has been a lot on lately LOL). Mind you we have digital so he has lost that source of football so I suppose the next thing will be to subscribe to SKY then I can sit here as long as I like :D

Yes. :D I get "So what were Champdogs saying today then" when I get home. And I get called "mad dog woman" by my hubbie. Is that meant to be an insult :D
By cleopatra [gb] Date 01.05.02 12:51 GMT
precisely, he thinks i'm potty - and "obsessed" gets used regularly! Hopefully the tables will turn a little when we get the new pup.... Somhow i doubt it though!
By 9thM [gb] Date 01.05.02 13:13 GMT
Ooh. I get "obsessed". Do you also get "it's only a Bl**dy dog"?
By cleopatra [gb] Date 01.05.02 13:18 GMT
all the time... great isn't it, to be supported in such a fulfilling way :D
By eoghania [de] Date 01.05.02 09:02 GMT
Thanks to my hubby being gone....nah. But when he gets back, we'll be in competition now. I used to laugh at the time he spent on the different Armoury boards (SCA-stick jock). The roles have sadly become reversed in his absence :D :D

For those of you who have no idea what I just wrote.... Michael's heavily involved with medieval recreationists & loves to fight with "swords" (rattan wrapped heavily & brings up many a nasty bruise if you don't have good padding). He spends hours doing research on historical fighting stances & even more hours writing up his opinions --- similar to me & my obsession with dogs & genealogy. :D :D :D
toodles cool

Yes I can join your club!

My hubby thinks I am barking mad!! he does not understand that you like to ramble on about your hounds have chats and keep in touch!! So I am meant to be doing the house work, ironing washing etc but this is far more fun than doing all that! He comes home from work tells me about his day and I tell him about mine !!!

I get in the neck- frequently:) He came in today- when I'd been nice by trying to come on while he was at work so he didn't get the face on (I'm trying to be nice and meet him halfway at the moment due to huge argument at the weekend) and he said 'God, is that all you do all day just sit on that thing!'- I couldn't believe it- the cheeky get- he must think that the kids get themselves ready for school, take themselves, the house just tidies itself and the shopping just appears etc:) I pop on here for a quick go and that's what I get! Just shows I'm not on form today because usually he'd have got a 'Well if you weren't so bloody boring........':D He's watching football at the minute- roll on the world cup eh (for excuses only):D :D :D

Unfortunately mark doesn't like football, though he did reveal to me last night that he would be getting involved in the world cup :D. Also last night i got the 'you wouldn't notice if i was even here - unless i took the computer away of course'. Doesn't seem to get that its the same as when he disappears into his games for 3 weeks at a time.
Compromise coming though i think - may be an absence of me in the evening: can't deal with the sulking anymore, i'm to young to have children and i certainly don't want a 6 ft one moping around ;-)
By eoghania [de] Date 01.05.02 21:10 GMT
Gillian.... I finally found another household where the woman controls the remote!!!! eek I thought I was the only one (sighs with relief).
cool
By bobby70 [gb] Date 02.05.02 00:57 GMT
well their is ither one of us on here or have the remote control (all i get if im on here and i liked what he just turned over is you cant do 2 things at ones ((you can tell he dont know us women very well :D )), but when it is my turn on here he does not say anything until i came on champdogs and then i need to get a life, its only a dog, i bet that its all women on that site LOL.

The only problem is that he does'nt like the footie so that does not help much, will have to find some finshing programes for him (and i need to get a life!!!) LOL

By LorraineB [gb] Date 02.05.02 21:10 GMT
Mine wakes up during his evening snooze, looks over at me pityingly and says'' oh, is that the dog site thingy again? " then goes back to sleep again. He hates computers but loves the dogs, even when they destroy the house periodically, so he is forgiven
