At 15 months, your bitch is far far too young to be a mother yet. What breed of Collie is she? There are a number of Collie experts here, so do try to register as you'll not find any better advice and information that here on Champdogs.

There are a number of things that you need to get organised befor thinking of breeding this bitch, but at her age there is plenty of time.

Look forward to hearing more.

Hi fifi,

LOL - I've always said "boys" and "girls" - my daughter when she was younger was very offended by the word "bitch" and insisted we call them "lady dogs" :D

I have no real problem how folks refer to their pets - whether by their "correct" names, fur kids ( sorry JG eek ) furry folks, furbies or good old fashioned "weans" :P   Can't honestly say it bothers me what terminology they use.  IMO as long as they are able to make the distinction between being a different species to us it's completely harmless.

Now text writing gobbledegook - that annoys me eek

Regards, Teri :-)

Gang I'm not sure the OP said ANYTHING about breeding. :-) You can't with 2 bitches. :D

Edited to say oops NOW  i get it! They BOTH want a partner. My mistake, LOL. I'm off to dog club now!!!!!

I always call them my girls, and when I come in from being out I always greet them with 'hello ladies'  to a chorus of  'tuts' from my kids :P I mean children :D
Life without dogs? I don't think so!
