can anyone help with a little information what dilution rate would you recommend to use hibiscrub for a dog with itchy skin have changed diet so just waiting to see if that is going to work. Got epi soothe from vet but it is no good so thought i would try hibiscrub just to try and stop the itch a bit before wnother visit to the vet it is a westie that i have as a matter of fact i have two sisters they both itch but one is worse than the other have had westies for nine years and this is the first time i have encountered this itching any help much appreciated

If you are going to use Hibiscrub then you only need a small capful per bath. We had a daxie with itchy paws and let her wade up and down the bath. We used about half a cap per 2" depth of water. You have to take care as it drys the skin out very quickly so wear gloves.

I had always been told 1 part hibiscrub to 10 parts water.  I use 1 capful to 10 capfuls of boiled water and use cotton wool to administer it.

Then rinse off with clean water using more cotton wool, or if bathing then shampoo with the diluted solution and then rinse.

Well I am useless, I just get a bowl and pour just a little in. I find it wonderful stuff. Boots wont any longer sell it though, so I pick it up at my wholesaler of animal feed or from our local chemist.

Its also very helpful on teenage acne. Or dirty skin, but be careful not to over do it. As it can also damage skin.

I do what brainless does with the same dilution.  As a dog groomer I have found loads of people use maleseb and epi soothe and lots more find this works and is a lot cheaper.  I would personally not bath in it but that is your decision.
