She is 66 days since the 1st breeding and isnt showing any signs of birth. I can feel puppys her teats are huge. Vulva enlarge. I have since different people say a bitchs gestation is 60-70days. I dont know who to believe.

Any help would be widely appreciated.

If the bitch is not distressed,a dn you can feel puppy movements so it isn't as if there is something amiss.

What says in ehr cycle was she mated?  What is the usual gestration length in her breed and female line?  did her motehr go over dates?

Could she have conceived much later than she was mated (bear in mind semen can live iwthin the bitch for up to a week).

Bitches can go a week before and also be late, generally a large litter will trigger whelping earlier.

Has the vet checked her and the state of the pups?
