Can anyone help? I have recently looked at a cocker spaniel pup that is classed as lemon and white. The colour is very light but the mother of the pups is almost a light ginger colour.Will the pup eventually darken down to the mothers colour or will it remain a light lemon colour? also does the sire of the pups have bearing on the colour?

sounds to me that the pup is a Lemon roan  This colour is the most recessive of all the roans
