Perhaps the Guest thinks the pup maybe a bit cheaper maybe ?

Think this may be a terminology thing - I presume the guest means not the most dominant pup in the litter, especially if we are looking at one of the "bull breeds", the most bossy won't necessarily make the best pet!

top dog is not always the best dog!!!!!
In many ways,looks, confromation, it may be another.
& personally i dont rreally go for the really pushy ones i prefer one or two down!!!!!

Yes I know that michelled, but I think the term 'top dog' used in this context is open to interpretation. I just thought he meant 'pick of the litter'.
