Do Clickers come in various sizes or types?  I will be starting a clicker club in January and wondered if I could buy a clicker now or if they come in all types or sorts, to wait to check with the trainer.

Sorry if the question seems daft to those who know these things.

You can get different types and the sounds can be soft or loud, some have a volume control. 

I would just get a normal basic clicker, unless you go to a specialist site that is all you will find anyway.  They are so cheap, so even if you want to change later you would not have lost anything.

Don't be tempted to try it out though until you have been shown how to use it correctly.

To use the clciker correctly it needs to be shown properly. You trainer is very likely to provide you with one anyway.
