i have been configuring a computer for a friend of mine, and it will not allow her access to the champdogs site at all. I have tried different routes, different addresses, accepting the sites cookies, lowering the security - everything! She has an old pentioum 2 (i think) that runs windows 2000. Can you think of any reason why the site will not allow her access? Everytime i try i just get the "you are not authorised to view this site" thing, and it tells me to contact champdogs. Please... really need some help with this one

Actually... when you get the "Unauthorized" message, have you tried clicking on the upper rt. hand corner "Logout" ? If you do that, it should clear you as a member (even though she isn't)...then go register as soon as possible. It's an idea. I have no clue if it will work. My best suggestion then is to email Admin directly from her computer.

Problem is it doesn't even let me access the site, just a blank white page, and you are not authorised to eneter this site! Even super nerd boyfriend hasn't seen anything like it...!

I have had the same thing happen to me at other sites. It's strange. But when I went in with another browser, I was sometimes able to access them.
So if you're using MS Explorer, try Netscape Communicator. or vise versa. I find that Champdogs works best through my Netscape. Could be my antique computer though :o

Really cant think what it is, and i dont want to have to put netscape on her computer, i personally dont like it very much! We have upgraded her, and still the same thing happens. Doesn't happen with my computer, which runs on the same program, etc. Really weird - oh well, maybe she wont get to experience the champdog way...

Hi, I dont know if its any help but a year or so ago I couldn't get into champdogs either, and the only way I could was to type in the "numbers" for the site instead of www.champdogs etc. Perhaps admin could give them to you, I think it started 216.62.... cant remeber any more!!
