Just to remember 'Lizzie' my black beautiful cat...
She's been gone 2 years today... that day still haunts me... Im still sorry i wasnt with her at the end.
But she's still resting at peace next to Charlie on my shelf...
With a candle shining bright as i type...

Also, at work (im a vet receptionist) i had a call from what sounded like an old man who wanted his dog pts...I booked the appointment and soon after the man came and the vet dealt with him.. she then asked me to walk the old guy to his car where he sobbed his eyes out... This is no good for me... i usually start crying too...
As i walked back trying to compose myself i saw the dog being pts and he looked at me with pleading eyes... i went on my break crying my eyes out... So r.i.p baby... find your way to the bridge x

Hugs. Anniversaries can be very hard indeed. I STILL feel sad on the 3rd of May which was the date my very first dog died -in 1984. Some animals just get to you so much they never truly leave you as they live in your heart.

They are but I always think now that if you have a living animal whether it be a dog or a cat it really does help

I now have a way of looking at death through loosing in the last 10 years , my wonderful Dad, a lovely Uncle ...
then my beloved Mars I can smile now as the pain is with me as I can smile Also my very special girl Min She was such a bright star

I have realised that as the saying goes ( sorry MariaC if it is the worst ever saying )

It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all
