As you probably know i work in a vet...
We had someone bring in a young staffie who had a prolapse...
We treated the dog while trying to locate her owners... The owners came in to collect yesterday and by 6pm they had, her pts. 'Because they would be unable to breed from her...'

Im devestated someone could do this.... i am still upset now.. she was a lovely girl... Just one yr old...

I dont know what to say apart from that i hope she finds her way to the bridge...

I suppose you could take some comfort in the fact that this wee lass is not now destined to be a puppy producing machine. Run free little one.

This just makes me sooooooooo angry.  How could they sentence that poor dog to death because it could no longer be a puppy producing machine for them.  That is just wrong, people who can decide whether a dog should live or die for that reason alone should not be allowed to keep animals.

I dont know what has made me look at Rainbow Bridge today, I had no reason to do so. This has really upset me, how people can be so heartless is beyond me. I only hope that they have a shread of compassion in their hearts and really feel bad about what they have done, sadly I dont think that they will give it a second thought, what kind of a life would this poor pup had with these horrid human beings. This is a life wasted, a life that could have brought so much happiness to a home and in return been offered the love and security every dog has a god given right to receive. I dont place many posts but really felt that I had to today.

I hope that the wee gem has now found happiness at the bridge and is now at peace.

I had to have (phoebe) my staffy put to sleep on the 17th oct 06 as she had cancer and i would have done
anything to keep her with me just for one more day because i couldnt face losing her because i loved her so much
Then you get people like that who heartlessly have a poor little baby put to sleep because they cant use
her for a breeding machine.
people like that make me sick they shouldn't be allowed near a animal let alone own one.
Someone should point out to them that a dog is something you care for and you love and not
just something you use for breeding then throw it away a dog has feelings..
I dont know how they could of done this to a baby like she was..
