I had to say goodbye to my two wonderful goldies a week ago today, at the excellent age of 12 and a half.  I feel like I have lost an arm, and although I still have 5 dogs, cannot get used to not having them greeting me each morning.

Your lives were becoming painful and difficult, and I made the heartbreaking decision to have you put to sleep in your own front room, in my arms, and you went together, as you have always been in life.  I miss you both desperately and you will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you for twelve and a half wonderful years.
