Hi,

I have been looking for another dog to keep my Staffy company for sometime. I would love to get a Staff from the same breeder, but i lost her papers in a house move. Does anyone know of a staff breeder in Raleigh, Essex my staff is red and her KC name is Pretty Saffron Rose. Also does anyone have any advise on rescuing a adult staff?

If your looking for a rescue Staffie try having a wonder round
www.Staffords.co.uk, there are a few rescue societys listed on thier site.

I've also been looking for another Staffie as a companion for my rescue Staff Bodie, unfortunatly most re-homing centres will not re-home a dog with a family that has children under the age of 5 ( not my idea as Staffies are great with kids) but sometimes its better to be safe than sorry.

You could also try the NCDL and Battersea dogs home as they always have a few Staffies in kennels.

I think i will try Battersea, and have a look at the Staffie site, i was just a little bit conserned about getting an adult dog, but will look into it more. I haven't got children (Saffie the Staffie is my baby) but we do work full time and have a dog walker in 3 hour a day, as i know some kennels do not allow you a dog if you work.
