My Beautiful Squirrel killing Afghan passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday Night. Oscar was my nightmare, my protector, my friend leader of the gang.  He was only 8 years old and it was too soon for him to go, but for him it must have been right.  He just fell asleep on his bed and just never woke up.

Osc I hope you are happy where you are - I will never ever forget you but I am sorry you left me when you did, it was too early for me but obviously right for you. You were your normal self Thursday so whatever it was I hope you didn't suffer. Chase those squirrels bud and all those rabbits and please keep me in your heart until we meet again.  I miss you and love you Oscar.

So sorry to read this Lisa.  It must have been an awful shock for you but what a wonderful way for him to go - no pain - no suffering.  It's the best we can hope for when the time comes *hugs*

Oh Lisa - what a shock for you.  But what a wonderful peaceful way to slip to the Rainbow Bridge - run free, Oscar - find squirrels.

He will stay in your heart forever.   {{{hugs}}}

((((Hugs)))) from us all to you.

Little Sis, I know how much Oscar meant to you and I feel for you right now.

Oscar was one of those very lucky dogs who found the perfect home with someone who understood his problems, was loved, cared for and understood for himself.  He had the years with you that he might not have had anywhere else.

Run fast and free Oscar at the Bridge.

What an awful shock. Hope you are enjoying yourself Oscar. Run and run.
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Well the house just seems so empty even with the other 2 and I feel completely lost without him.  I had been using an animal communicator for the horse who was amazingly accurate so I asked them to tell Osc that I missed him and loved him more than he ever knew.  This was the reply.

Oscar is a very bright dog, who knew how much he was loved in life and is very happy that his memory is likely to be laughed about in future.

He was a comedian, but very sensitive too at times, bright but a clown, he had a real zest for life, and a real love for you, his wish for life was that he would not have to leave you making a choice for his life, and he is very pleased to have got his wish.

He says you said goodnight to him last night, he went to bed with a huge feeling of love, all a boy could ever ask for, in his eyes, he was chasing small furry animals in his dreams when he died, so he is happy that he died doing what he enjoyed most, ( he wants to tell you that in his dream he caught them too).

He also wants you to know that he hasn't left you, his body may have but his memory and spirit lives on.

He is wonderfully happy that he had more love in his life than many animals even dream of, he is happy relaxed and free from pain, he is ok.

I have told him you love him and will miss him more than you can even bear to think of at the moment, his reply was, yeah well, so she has always been a softie really, god she tries to be so tuff,

He is ok, he is happy on how he went, and he went knowing how much you cared.

Lisa, hun, you take care, he is still around for now, and he went doing what he enjoyed even if it was in his dreams.

This is what happened with my Tula just a few days short of 11years which is young for the breed (average 13).  She just lay down in the kitchen and my kids found her dead.

From what you have written about him he would have seemed to have been an independent lad :-) and his passing in that manner would seem to sum up a dog who lived by the saying " I did it my way".

It must have been a huge shock to you but what a peaceful way to go. Sorry for your loss.
I came into this world with nothing & with careful management I've managed to keep nearly all of it
