I've just b een thinking, with our old 13 year old in sight about how many fellow red and white owners have lost dogs in the past 12 months.  So many have passed away in these last 12 months it's upsetting thinking that our boy is getting old and could be next.  on her birthday one of our bicthes Dam's passed away, her owners are holding a  memoriale BBQ for her today to celebrate her life, it was ment to be for her birthday.

One couple have lost 5 of there red and whites in 10 months, one of them leaving behind an 8 week old litter.

Just seems a bad year for the breed, very few, if any have been accidents, insted all have been nature taking their corse

Giving our old boy extra hugs every day now, his allready exceeded his lines average life span so every day we have with him is a bonus.

But RIP all other red and whites, hope you are all happy in heavenly fields full of birds.

That's dreadfully sad.

Yes, it's worrying how these things seem to crop up at once. Last week my friend had to have Henry's mum put down, then the next day the dog's father was found dead in the morning, then the day after that another friend lost her dog to an aggressive cancer at only 6 years old.

HG, glad you like our boys.   They are very special to us.  They can be pains at times however easily forgivable.
