My daughter has just got her first Labrador puppy and would like some books on the history of the breed. All the ones I have found in bookshops seem to be the sort that have 1/2 dozen pages on the dogs and the rest are first aid and other stuff. While I know this is relevent it's not what she wants as she is not a first time dog owner.
